The truth is that the youngest members of the family can adapt to anything. It doesn&#8217;t matter the place, but the good company of their parents and making different plans. Undoubtedly, in recent times there is a plan that has become more fashionable than ever before, and that is the motorhome routes. In the following lines we show you three different options and at the end some tips to make it a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Motorhome routes with children around Spain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s start with some <strong>easy routes that you can do with your children in a motorhome<\/strong>. Travelling with children is a challenge, but with patience and good humour you can make it an unforgettable adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Along the Navia. <\/strong>The northern climate always invites you to take a route through its surroundings. You can start in Navia, which is a river located in Lugo. In the area you can visit towns such as Piedrafita or places like Cabo de San Agust\u00edn. Afterwards, you can visit other villages in the area, such as Pezos, Lantero or Doiras. Just at the end of the Navia is the Arb\u00f3n reservoir for a range of water sports. The waters of the river Navia are also perfect for swimming. There are beaches such as Moro and Barayo. From here, you can choose whether to continue through Galicia or go on to Asturias.<\/li><li><strong>The Boi Valley. <\/strong>It is located in the Lleida Pyrenees. You will find everything that nature has to offer in the area. Forests, streams and torrents of water adorn a unique landscape. In winter you will be delighted to contemplate the snow-capped peaks. You enter through El Pont de Suert, then you will find different roads that will show you unique treasures of the Catalan Romanesque. You can also reach the mountain resort of Boi Ta\u00fcll. In winter you can practice different sports, but in summer you can also try paragliding or canoeing. From there you can reach the well-known Aran Valley, another unforgettable enclave.<\/li><li><strong>Route through Portugal.<\/strong> It is a must when travelling by motorhome. There are so many places to discover in the neighbouring country that there would not be enough space in these lines to show them all. You can start your route in Oporto, where you can enjoy its wines and a trip along the Douro River. Continue on down to Lisbon, where the Belem Tower is just one of its many emblematic sites. In the surrounding area you will also find charming towns such as Sintra, one of our favourites, with the Castelo dos Mouros, the National Palace of Sintra, the Palace of Montserratel, the National Palace of Pena and the Quinta da Regaleira. The latter two are among the most beautiful you&#8217;ll find in Portugal. Especially on long journeys, the little ones get bored. Do your part and you&#8217;ll be sure to get along just fine.<\/li><li><strong>Games. <\/strong>It is essential to bring some games to keep the little ones entertained on those long journeys we have just mentioned. Board games are always the best option.<\/li><li><strong>Some reading. <\/strong>If they don&#8217;t get dizzy, reading for a while is sure to entertain them a lot. Also, adults who are not behind the wheel can participate in the reading. Even audio books are perfect for this type of journey.<\/li><li><strong>Tablets. <\/strong>It&#8217;s not a bad idea to take a downloaded film or series with you on your tablet. There are times for everything and you will certainly need to relax for a while.<\/li><li><strong>Timetable. <\/strong>Apart from entertainment, try to maintain the routine of your children&#8217;s lives. Get up at more or less the same time and go to bed relatively early. Otherwise, they will be too tired the next day. Of course, since you have the house on your shoulders, a nap can be an excellent option.<\/li><li><strong>Stops. <\/strong>In a motorhome there is no excuse for stopping to go to the toilet, but it is a good idea to take a break every two hours.
