Best coves in Alicante, our favourites!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pinets Cove in Benissa<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the most impressive coves in Benissa.<\/strong> It reminds us of a small paradise in the middle of the Mediterranean. It has a gravel beach and another sandy beach, which match perfectly with its transparent water. If you are approaching it on foot, you can get there from the nearby La Fustera beach. You can also reach it by car or motorbike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although it does not have the usual services of beaches and coves, it is a perfect place for marine sports such as diving and sailing<\/strong>. The surrounding flora and fauna are unique, such as its red anemones and open expanses of posidonia seaweed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Mejores<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Very close to this cove, you will find Mar Muerta and Rocas Negras. Sounds strange, doesn’t it? But this is a very special place. They are rock formations that make up a shallow natural pool. Without a doubt, it is ideal for children. If you go there, don’t hesitate to stop for a second to observe the effects produced on the rocks when they enter the sea in reddish tones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cap Blanch Cove in Altea<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Cap Blanc cove is located to the south of Altea and its yacht club. <\/strong>It is also connected to the well-known Albir beach. It is a beach where pebbles and gravel predominate. It is a very beautiful area of the town that is definitely worth a visit. Not forgetting that very close by you will find all the services you need to enjoy a great day at the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Llebeig de Benitatxell Cove<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although it is close to the Poble Nou cliffs route in Benitatxell<\/strong>, it is still an intimate corner with incredible views – quite a viewpoint<\/strong>! What keeps it as a hidden corner is its difficult access, which is why many people still don’t know about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Portet Cove in Moraira<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It is a small cove with clear water, close to the mountain<\/strong>, an ideal place for diving, snorkelling or kayaking. It is one of the best rated beaches in Moraira, and no wonder! In addition to its spectacular surroundings, tranquillity and escape are guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cala del Morell\u00f3 Cove and the Ba\u00f1os de la Reina in Calpe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the foot of the Infanta Elena promenade, between the urban beach of Calpe and Cala Morell\u00f3, are the Ba\u00f1os de la Reina (Queen’s Baths).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ba\u00f1os de la Reina<\/strong> are part of the Roman remains of a site dating back to the 1st-3rd century BC. Can you imagine bathing in a Roman-era building? There are still six rafts that were once used for fish farming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a real pleasure to swim in these little pools. The water breaks just on the other side of the sea rock wall. The water flows in and out and this current is what keeps it crystal clear, and the floor is made of sand that has entered very little by little.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portixol Cove in J\u00e1vea<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You’ll love this cove, it’s one of the most Instagrammed coves in Spain<\/strong>! You’re sure to be familiar with its white lacquered fishermen’s houses with blue doors. The beach is made of gravel and stone sand and has very blue waters. Its fame in recent years has increased the number of visitors, so we recommend that you avoid the main hours of the day to visit it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puerto Blanco Cove in Calpe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Near the Puerto Blanco Marina<\/strong> we find a small cove of barely 100 metres, but with impressive views of the Pe\u00f1\u00f3n de Ifach and Calpe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a cove of fine sand with rocky areas and all the necessary services for a comfortable day at the beach: toilets, footbaths, lifeguards, walkways\u2026 In the evenings, in summer, small concerts are organised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Granadella Cove in J\u00e1vea<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We could not finish this list without adding one of the most famous coves in the province. Cala Granadella is located in a truly spectacular landscape. It is made of rocks and stones, and its waters are crystal clear. It is the perfect place for water sports, such as scuba diving and snorkelling<\/strong>. It also has a hiking route that goes from the gorge to the cove itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
