When we talk about camping stuff,<\/strong> there are a number of basic things<\/strong> we can’t forget in order to make our camping comfortable, fun and particularly free from any problem<\/strong>. The goal is to have a superb experience<\/strong>.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since it’s not always easy to know what camping equipment we can’t forget, what we can easily buy at our destination and what things we won’t need, in this post we’ve prepared a checklist so you won’t miss anything<\/strong>.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camping stuff: what’s important to have when going camping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Take paper and pen because these are the most important things you should take to a campsite<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Tents and sleeping bags<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are going camping with a caravan or a motorhome<\/strong>, you won’t need to bring a tent. If not, this item is the most important camping stuff! The tent has to be chosen depending on the people you are going to camp<\/strong>, but also taking into account the season of the year<\/strong>, the weather<\/strong> and the place<\/strong> where you are going to camp.

It’s also a good idea to use a large plastic sheet under the tent in order to protect it from ground humidity<\/strong> in case of rain or cold weather. Although nowadays most tents are very easy to set up, you should also take with you the picks<\/strong>, sticks<\/strong>, rods <\/strong>and hammer <\/strong>to secure your tent to the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sleeping bags<\/strong> are our second must-have. You should choose it depending on the outside weather<\/strong>. But how do I know that my sleeping bag is good enough for the weather season? Just make sure it matches the appropriate comfort range. To be more comfortable and warm, we recommend that you be well provided with some blankets, sheets and pillows<\/strong>. And don’t forget the mats!

2. Cooking equipment for camping
<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you’re going to cook on the campsite, then it’s best to have portable kitchen or a camping stove<\/strong>. Many of these cooking tools already come with their set of pans, pots and pans, so you won’t need to add them to your list. And, of course, you shouldn’t forget some plates, glasses and cutlery<\/strong>. As an extra tip, we also suggest you take tupperswares<\/strong> or lunch boxes <\/strong>to store your food. This way, you’ll keep your foodstuff in good condition while having bugs and bad smells away. In addition, a mini fridge or a small portable camping freezer<\/strong> will also help keep food fresh.

Finally, don’t forget water bottles, garbage bags, lighters and some cleaning items<\/strong> for washing the pots and pans.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, what about the food? If you camp on a campsite, you’ll probably have a supermarket nearby. Yet, there are some products you can take on a camping trip because they are easy to keep and so convenient in case of urgent need. It’s is the case of some fruits<\/strong>, cans<\/strong>, legumes<\/strong>, jams<\/strong>, pasta<\/strong> and rice<\/strong>. Dehydrated foods<\/strong> and potatoe soups<\/strong> are also easy to cook and store. Shakes and individual juices<\/strong> are a good choice too. On the other hand, add basic things like salt, sugar or coffee<\/strong>.

3. Hygiene products<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In terms of basic hygiene products, the camping stuff you will need is basically the same you would need for any other getaway. That’s to say, soap <\/strong>and shampoo<\/strong>, towels<\/strong>, toothbrush <\/strong>and toothpaste<\/strong>, comb, swimsuit, a pair of flip flops<\/strong> or toilet paper<\/strong>. Furthermore, think that if you camp in a campsite, you will have showers and electric power<\/strong> available, as well as toilets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The survival kit!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In addition to all this camping stuff or equipment, there are other items that are a must-have when going camping. We are talking about flashlights <\/strong>or camping lamps, a multipurpose knife<\/strong>, insect repellent<\/strong>, sunscreen<\/strong>, chargers <\/strong>and batteries<\/strong>. Among these basic things, you shouldn’t forget a first aid kit<\/strong> with medicines and basic products such as aspirins, paracetamol, stomach protectors, alcohol, plasters or bandages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepare all your camping stuff!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once you have all your equipment ready, it’s time to pack! When getting everything ready, we recommend trying to take as little space as possible<\/strong>. So, fold the bags, tent and mats well and use the tuppers, lunch boxes and pots to store other smaller items inside. Our advice is always to keep personal documentation<\/strong>, a bottle of water, some snacks and part of the first aid kit near you,<\/strong>in another backpack or bag. This way you will be prepared for anything that might happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
